Role Purpose


Responsible for ensuring aircraft availability on daily basis for timely scheduled departure towards effective maintenance with an achievable plan for defect rectification at KUL, Domestics and International Station.

Key Accountability

  • Timely recover of all unserviceable aircraft across the fleet and network.
  • Coordinate the recovery of AOG at station and monitor Movement Manager to ensure aircraft departs on -time and follow up an delay.
  • Responsible in managing plan task on all defects/SMR/TSI/etc for rectification within the set time frames are achievable.
  • Manage the MOC technical and planning support to give proactive advise on defect trends to prevent and/or rectify MR1.
  • Assisting MOC Duty Manager on his/her Duty Profile on daily basis in ensuring smooth operation of EMD specifically and OCC Generally.
  • Shall be responsible for the management of all MCC staff on their shift.

Qualifications & Working Experience

  • Holds a current DCAM (License Aircraft Maintenance Engineer) with minimum 4 years' experience in Maintenance Operations environment in Leading Position or 3 years in MCC as Senior Exec Engineer OR any related fields with minimum 3 years in Engineering and Maintenance.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Familiar with all Operation department especially under Engineering and Maintenance Operation, Process and Procedure.
  • Fully Knowledgeable on Aircraft Technical System and Design and good Trouble shooting mindset and problem solving.
  • Knowledgeable with all Engineering and Maintenance System (AMOS, SHM, AHM, Aircom, Movement manager etc).
  • Ability to performed and produce under pressure, hi load and hi Capacity.

Key Challenges

  • Planning for recovery of any unscheduled unserviceable aircraft anywhere on the network.
  • Achieving E&M targets both operational and financial with ensuring a safe and compliant aircraft fleet.
  • Prioritizing maintenance activity to achieve the best aircraft availability for MH operation.
  • Accurate and effective decision making under pressing timescales.
