Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Executive to manage purchasing activities and ensure efficient procurement of goods and services. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, supplier management experience, and a deep understanding of purchasing procedures.

Job Description

  • Verifies purchase requisitions by comparing items requested to the master list and recommends alternatives.
  • Provides purchasing planning and control information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Monitor market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers.
  • Forwards available inventory items by verifying stock and delivering schedules.
  • Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price, while obtaining recommendations from suppliers.
  • Secures approval from requisitioning department.
  • Manages purchases by forwarding orders to suppliers and monitoring and expediting orders.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and specifications.
  • Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered; resolves shipment errors with suppliers.
  • Authorizes payment for purchases by forwarding receiving documentation.
  • Keeps information accessible by sorting and filing documents.
  • Accomplishes purchasing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Prepare cost analyses (PO Summary)
  • Complete invoices and DO (Sets) pass to finances once verify by HOD'S.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of purchasing regulations, contract management, and vendor evaluation.
  • Proficiency in purchasing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle multiple purchasing projects and work under pressure.
