  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job position: Finance Manager / Assistant Finance Manager

Location: Seri Kembangan, Selangor (Precast manufacturing company)

Working days: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5.48 pm

Job Responsibilities:

  • Overview Account Payable, Account Receivable, Banking, Fixed Assets ,and Costing.
  • Lead on Supply Chain Management team.
  • Reporting for the group of companies.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting.
  • In-charge of Tax and Audit Related Matters.Oversee the month-end closing and costing processes in factories, including work order closing, stock transfers, subcontractor costs, site costs, mould costs, and closed project management.
  • Track production metrics such as volume, gains/losses, labour costs, production wastage, design costs, cost allocation, and NRV for loss-making projects.
  • Monitor and control goods returns and rejects, ensuring timely scrap/reuse tracking and system updates.
  • Generate monthly production P&L and provide detailed variance analysis, along with monthly written reports on progress and improvements.
  • Oversee and improve inventory management at factories, including planning and organizing yearly stock takes, quarterly stock takes, monthly cycle counts, and reconciliations, ensuring ownership of results and accuracy in ERP records.
  • Enhance stock count processes, resolve ERP issues, and lead the development of tools and system enhancements to improve financial and operational reporting.
  • Prepare and review all ad hoc, monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial and management reports, and support the financial planning and analysis process, covering revenue, manufacturing costs, and SG&A expenses.
  • Contribute to the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes and drive business process changes to improve financial awareness and ensure effective internal controls.
  • Ensure strict adherence to company policies, statutory requirements, and compliance in financial reporting, while liaising with external and internal auditors.
  • Provide leadership and training to subordinates, and take on additional tasks and responsibilities as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum degree in Finance/Accountancy and/or Professional Qualification ACCA / CIMA/MICPA or equivalent;
  • Min 3 years applicable experience in financial reporting/costing and manufacturing accounting for manufacturing industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point is preferred.
  • Exposure in using an ERP system;
  • Passion for detailed work and drive to ensure timely and quality deliverables;
  • Able to occasionally travel to factories and sites.
  • Able to speak Mandarin & English.
