MSI GS AP Accountant will be responsible for, cash flow forecasting, supplier payments, inter-company management. The role is responsible for all related Working Capital KPIs focusing on Cash conversion, CIT KPIs. In addition,

B. Key Responsibilities (Critical responsibilities and skills of this position, listed in order of importance)

Purchasing & Trade Payables Execution

· Review and ensure all external and intercompany invoices are approved in accordance with GAPPs and Group Accounting Policies before capturing within the accounting system.

· Process supplier invoices and execute all bank payments in a timely manner and in line with invoice payment terms.

· Execute monthly cash sweeping to corporate to ensure cash KPIs are met.

· To liaise with MSI GS Operations to resolve supplier’s invoice queries. To ensure the invoices received are accurate, correct and reconcile to approved Purchase Orders.

· Maintains and balances accounts payable ledgers, preparing reclass journals to/from Advances Paid to Services provider to manage proper balance sheet presentation each month end.

· Monitors the Goods Received Not Invoiced ledger to ensure aged balances are appropriated cleared and resolved.

· In line with SOP, each quarter end support MSI GS Operations with inventory confirmations from 3PL providers, ensuring completeness and accuracy over inventory through reconciling each confirmation to the general ledger. Work with MSI GS Operations to investigate and resolve all reconciling differences.

· Ensure all invoices (external and inter-company) received are compliant with UAE Taxation Authority requirements.

Working Capital

· Cash: Work in close cooperation with MSI GS Operations to forecast weekly & monthly cash requirements and prepare weekly corporate fund request forms to meet upcoming supplier payments.

· Cash: Prepare weekly bank reconciliations and ensure all payments are accurately captured, allocated and posted. Investigate and resolve all reconciling differences.

· Cash: Analyse and report on monthly cash conversions against both budget and forecast

· Monitor working capital positions to ensure each month end Working Capital targets are achieved (AR > 60 days, Min Cash Balance, Cash Conversion, Inventory).

Intercompany

· Capture all intercompany debit and credit notes issued to MSI GS accurately and in a timely manner. For intercompany recharges, ensure all debit and credit notes are aligned to budget.

· Reconcile all intercompany ledgers with counterparties at each month end. Investigate and resolve all reconciling differences.

· Prepare monthly intercompany netting reports to be shared with corporate. Capture and manually match all intercompany netting journal entries each month.

· Coordinate with other LE’s to ensure G&A costs, i.e., IT systems/software and Hosted Headcount managed by different LE’s are recharged and captured in an accurate and timely manner in line with budget expectations.

Required Skills and Knowledge (Brief description of the expertise and education needed to perform the job)

· BS degree in Finance or Accounting

· Chartered Accountant/CPA; preferred.

· Strong understanding of accounting principles and concepts.

· SAGE X3 highly desirable.

· Advanced Excel skills.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· +5 years relevant experience.

· Experience operating in matrix organization with evidence of communicating with a variety of people at different levels.

· Experience dealing with external suppliers, providers, and organizations.

· Ability to communicate in English fluently (oral and written)
