The Head of Workplace Design at Company works hand in hand with the Principal and Partners to lead the strategic vision, research, and execution of innovative workplace environments that align with our brand philosophy and client needs. This role integrates workplace strategy, interior design, and human-centred innovation to drive high-performance environments that enhance employee experience, collaboration, and brand identity.

The Head of Workplace Design will determine workplace projects' conceptualisation, development, and implementation, ensuring that each design solution aligns with business objectives, sustainability goals, and evolving work trends. This position requires collaboration with internal teams, clients, stakeholders, and industry experts to create workplace solutions that support Life, Team, and Impact—the core principles of Company’s workplace philosophy.

Key Responsibilities

A) Strategic Leadership & Workplace Innovation

  • Develop and execute a forward-thinking workplace design strategy that reflects Company’s commitment to high-performance work environments.
  • Lead research and thought leadership on emerging workplace trends, including hybrid work models, technology integration, and sustainability.
  • Define and maintain Company’s proprietary workplace design standards, ensuring consistency across all projects.
  • Drive the integration of workplace well-being, inclusivity, and human-centred design principles.

B) Project Leadership & Execution

  • Oversee the end-to-end design process for workplace projects, from concept development to implementation.
  • Ensure all workplace designs align with Company’s quality standards and client business objectives.
  • Manage multidisciplinary design teams, ensuring collaboration across strategy, design, and execution.
  • Evaluate space planning, furniture, and materials to optimize workplace functionality and experience.

C) Client Engagement

  • Serve as a key advisor to clients, providing expertise in workplace design, strategy, and transformation.
  • Conducted workplace assessments and developed data-driven workplace strategies for clients.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to craft design solutions that meet market demands and drive revenue growth.

D) Collaboration & team Development

  • Mentor and develop a team of workplace designers, strategists, and project managers.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning within the design team.
  • Work closely with other disciplines, including branding, experience design, and technology experts, to deliver holistic workplace environments.
  • Establish internal best practices for knowledge sharing and team development.

E) Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or Workplace Strategy.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in workplace design, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Medium ( 10K sqft to 50k sqft )to large ( > 100k sqft) corporate offices experience
  • A must for the knowledge of Sketchup Modelling and Rendering software ( Enscape / Vray etc)
  • Strong understanding of corporate workplace strategy, change management, and future of work trends.
  • Proven experience in leading workplace transformation projects from strategy to execution.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and business development skills.

F) Timeline & Review Process

  • The role is a full-time leadership position with annual performance reviews.
  • Regular check-ins with the executive leadership team to align workplace design strategies with Company’s broader business goals.
  • Continuous improvement of workplace methodologies based on market insights and project learnings.
