Installation and Service Technician

The Installation & Service Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems and ceiling mounted air purifiers to ensure a comfortable and clean indoor environment for our clients. Under the guidance of the Team Leader, this role requires technical expertise, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: 1. Installation: • Carry out installations of air conditioning systems and ceiling mounted air purifiers as per the project specifications. • Ensure installations are completed in a timely manner while adhering to the company's quality standards and safety regulations. 2. Maintenance and Service: • Perform routine maintenance checks and services on air conditioning systems and air purifiers to ensure they operate efficiently. • Identify and rectify issues before they escalate into larger problems. 3. Repairs: • Diagnose and repair issues with air conditioning systems and ceiling mounted air purifiers. • Ensure repairs are carried out accurately and efficiently, minimizing downtime and disruption to the client. 4. Quality Assurance: • Conduct quality checks to ensure work meets the company’s standards as well as industry regulations and standards. • Provide feedback to the Team Leader on any issues or potential improvements to ensure continuous quality improvement. 5. Documentation: • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all installation, maintenance, and repair activities. • Document customer feedback and ensure it's communicated to the Team Leader for further action if necessary. 6. Team Collaboration: • Work closely with the Team Leader and other technicians to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest quality. • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve skills and knowledge. Qualifications: • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) and/or air purification systems installation and service. • Technical diploma or certification in HVAC and/or related field is preferred. • Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills. • Excellent customer service and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. • Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to different job sites.
