Assistant Manager, Business Development
We are looking for an Associate Commercial Manager to be responsible for meeting sales target in Malaysia market. Duties will include sales presentations, business development, government negotiation on rules & regulations, negotiating contracts with Key Accounts, as well as implementing strategic campaigns for Malaysia market.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the sales process dynamics, leadership experience, great presentation skill & Public Relationship engagement. Able to meet timeline & pipeline for sales driven activity.
Job Description:
- Present, promote and sell products/services using solid presentations to existing and prospective customers.
- Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts such as developing business by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
- Assist and involve in distributor activities such as sell in and sell out proposal.
- Source for Key Accounts such as KK Mart, MyNews, 7-11, Mix, etc.
- Market analysis by segmentation, competitors trending and pricing.
- Keeping track of sales forecast and order.
- Actively keeping management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analysis.
- Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
- Work across functionally across other departments for the best result on the benefits of company.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Sales / Marketing, Mass Communication, or any related business field.
- At least 3 years of experience in FMCG industry on field sales.
- Experience in Key Accounts management.
- Added advantage for candidates from Tobacco / Vape industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literate with efficiency MS excel (Vlookup/Xlookup/Index Match/IF) & MS PowerPoint.
- Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Fluent in spoken and written English & Malay (additional spoken in other languages is an added advantage.
- Must possess own vehicle & willing to travel across Malaysia.
