University Bus Driver Position: Bus Driver Department: Transportation Services Reports to: Transport Manager / Facilities Management Location: Multimedia University, Cyberjaya Campus Job Summary: The University Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting students, faculty, and staff between university campuses, dormitories, and other designated locations. This role ensures timely and efficient shuttle services while maintaining safety, professionalism, and excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: Safe Transportation: Operate university buses safely, following all traffic laws and university regulations. Ensure the safety of passengers by following best driving practices. Route Management & Punctuality: Follow assigned routes and schedules with punctuality. Adjust routes based on traffic, road conditions, or special university events. Communicate with the transport manager about route changes or delays. Passenger Assistance & Customer Service: Provide a welcoming and courteous environment for passengers. Assist passengers with disabilities or special needs when boarding and exiting the bus. Ensure students and staff comply with university transport policies. Bus Maintenance & Safety Checks: Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, checking fuel levels, brakes, lights, and other essential components. Report any mechanical issues or damages to the transport department immediately. Keep the bus clean and presentable at all times. Emergency Response & Compliance: Follow university emergency protocols in case of accidents, breakdowns, or medical emergencies. Comply with all safety regulations, including fire and evacuation procedures. Ensure compliance with university policies and transportation safety laws. Qualifications & Requirements: Valid [Insert Country-Specific] commercial driver's license (PSV) with a passenger endorsement. Minimum [3] years of experience as a professional bus driver. Clean driving record with no major violations. Familiarity with university campuses and surrounding areas. Ability to operate a bus safely under different traffic and weather conditions.
