What You'll Do
- Lead, develop, drive & review business plans regularly to achieve sales targets / business objectives / goals, profitability goal & market share. He/she will ensure the successful sales performance and profit generation of the company by overseeing teams of sales managers / account managers.
- Lead total Project segment to meet customer needs, proactively develop project pipeline planning to grow BlueScope market share in building & construction (B&C) industry.
- Build & maintain strong relationships with project segment customers & all key stakeholders by proactively assessing, validating customer needs to deliver win-win result.
- Lead project pipeline planning, strengthen project pipeline visibility, lead project sufficiency planning to deliver short-mid-long term stretch goal.
- Lead development of project segment strategies & plans to deliver volume & profit goals. Develop clear project segment external engagement plan & tactics to minimize channel & customers conflict. To be clear on value creation by each customers & partnership with each customers to grow the pie, grow BlueScope market share in B&C industry.
- Lead annual business planning, quarterly & monthly customer engagement & business review internally & externally.
- Responsible for project segment forecast, improve forecast accuracy, analyse project pipeline & result, provide rolling 12 months forecast in demand planning.
- Develop project segment team of 4 key account managers (KAM) to deliver business result, to build capability of each team members, to build talent pipeline & succession plan.
- Collaborate with other departments (i.e. marketing, technical solution, commercial, credit & demand/supply team) on project segment overall strategy & plans, to address customer needs & issue resolution to enable delivery of sales target & business priorities.
- Ensure adherence to all Company principles / bond, policies, local legal or regulations including and company health, safety, environment & community (HSEC) policies.
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager, Channel leaders or in a similar sales leadership role.
- Experience in the project segment, understand project planning, wide network in B&C industry.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Knowledge of the industry and market trends.
- Ability to travel as required.
