As a Technical Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring exceptional candidates for technical positions. You will work closely with hiring managers and engineering leaders to understand their requirements and match candidates with the right skill sets, including but not limited to software engineering, data science, DevOps, cybersecurity, and cloud infrastructure. You’ll utilize your technical knowledge to ensure that we attract and retain top talent for our growing tech teams. Key Responsibilities: • Talent Sourcing: Use advanced sourcing techniques (e.g., Boolean search, GitHub, Stack Overflow, LinkedIn, social media, niche job boards, and technical communities) to build a pipeline of qualified candidates for technical roles. • Job Posting & Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with hiring managers and technical leads to understand job requirements and write compelling job descriptions that attract top talent in areas such as Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), Kubernetes, and microservices architecture. • Screening & Interviewing: Conduct initial screenings, technical phone interviews, and onsite interviews with focus areas on system design, coding assessments, problem-solving, algorithms, and data structures. • Assessment & Evaluation: Administer coding tests or take-home assignments (via platforms like HackerRank, Codility, LeetCode) to evaluate candidates’ technical proficiency. • Market Mapping & Competitor Analysis: Perform research and competitive analysis to identify trends in the tech hiring market, ensuring we remain competitive in attracting top talent. • Talent Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with passive candidates and technical communities, including reaching out to potential candidates via emails, messaging platforms, and attending tech meetups and conferences. • Stakeholder Management: Provide regular updates and reports to hiring managers and HR leadership on the progress of the recruitment pipeline and new sourcing strategies. • Offer Negotiations: Work with the HR team to manage offer negotiations, ensuring fair compensation aligned with current market rates for technical roles. Skills & Qualifications: • Experience: o 7+ years of experience as a Technical Recruiter or in a recruiting capacity within the technology industry. o Deep knowledge of technical roles such as Backend/Frontend Developers, Data Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Cloud Architects, QA Automation Engineers, and Technical Support Engineers. • Technical Knowledge: o Strong understanding of key programming languages (Java, Python, Ruby, PHP, JavaScript, C#) and frameworks (React, Angular, Django, Flask, Spring Boot). o Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices. o Understanding of cloud platforms and technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). o Knowledge of database technologies like SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra). o Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket). o Exposure to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. o Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript). • Tools & Platforms: o Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, or Bullhorn. o Skilled in sourcing platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, AngelList, etc.). o Experience with coding assessment platforms such as Codility, HackerRank, or CodeSignal. • Soft Skills: o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders. o Strong problem-solving skills and ability to assess candidates' technical capabilities. o High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple positions simultaneously. o Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Certification in technical recruiting or sourcing (e.g., AIRS, LinkedIn Certified Professional Recruiter). • Previous experience working with high-growth startups or established tech companies.
