Job Summary: Materials Specialist will be responsible to make sure at each stage, that all materials, spares, component and tooling required for all scheduled and unscheduled work is arranged / preloaded and delivered to base maintenance and workshops on time. Key Responsibilities: 1) Act as key person between Hangar Ops, Workshop Ops and Supply chain to provide materials, spares, component and tooling on time. 2) Inbound : Monitor inbound delivery performance. Manage inbound material flow. Perform physical inventory procedures. Maintain inventory status. Physically move stock. Prepare stock for movement. Locate stock. 3) Outbound : Expedite Site Part transfers. Package, process, and label all outgoing shipments. Create and process shipping documents in AMOS. Maintain shipping documentation according to record retention procedures. Evaluate freight options to ensure lowest cost shipping methods. Ship materials to meet expected on dock delivery dates. 4 ) To communicate with Procurement department and expedite spares, material, component and tooling for on time delivery to meet operation requirements. 5) Investigate and resolve systematic reasons for inventory inaccuracies. 6) Create, maintain, and monitor various types of Bin locations including Process Returns to Stock as consigned and owned materials. Qualifications & Requirements: Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Administration, Aviation or equivalent 1-3 years in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics. At least 2 years and above experience in Part 145 maintenance organization receiving and inspection procedures. Any certification related to Supply Chain such as Dangerous Goods, ATA 300, Part 145, etc. 2 Able to drive forklift. 3 Knowledge in aviation requirement specific on components.
