Associate, Fund Accounting and Operations

Capital Dynamics seeks an Associate, Fund Accounting and Operations to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. Your roles and responsibilities will include: - Calculation and ensure accuracy of Net Asset Value, including expenses accrual, preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and conduct variance analysis. - Handle trade processing and settlements, monitoring of corporate actions, liaising with service providers. - Calculation of management and performance fees, and preparation of billing to clients. - Preparation of regulatory reporting, management reports, quarterly and financial statements, and other ad-hoc reports to the authorities, directors and clients, in an accurate and timely manner. Requirements: - A solid degree in Accounting or Finance related discipline or equivalent professional certification; Professional qualification/s are not essential. - Candidates with 1 to 2 years’ experience in financial accounting is preferred. Fresh graduates who are undaunted by the challenge of a steep learning curve are encouraged to apply. - Candidates who have more than 5 years in fund administration can be considered for a more senior role. - Deadline oriented, with good communication and organisational skills. - Attention to details and good problem solving skills. - Able to multitask and work independently. - For the right person, there will be opportunities to gain further exposure to project based activities and increasing involvement with regional and international issues.
