Site(s) Security Management · Implements the company’s and customer’s security and safety policies and procedures among employees, contractors, clients and other third parties. · Ensures 99.9% upkeep operation of the Security System (CCTV, Access Control and Intrusion Alarm) and Fire Safety System (Fire Alarm & Detection System, Fire Extinguishers, Emergency Lightings, Emergency Doors, FM200 and VESDA etc.) by: o Completing the recommended maintenance requirements of the manufacturers, o Perform Level 1 troubleshooting malfunctions and calling the vendors repairs. o Coordinates preventive maintenance and repairs of safety devices in coordination with site facility team. · Liaises with local law enforcement agency on issues security in nature and maintain site’s security. · Liaises with emergency service, ambulance and fire service to in times of emergency and disastrous events. · Supervises the security guard force within his shift. · Conducts regular security guard force performance review activities covering the following: o Knowledge of company policy and procedures o Post Duties and Responsibilities · Conducts a monthly internal compliance audit on specific Physical Security requirements of clients as per MSA or SOW · Facilitates the NHO to promote security and safety awareness within the organization. · Facilitates the NHO for new team managers. · Facilitates NHO and reoccurring trainings for outsource staff and vendor · Serve as the Site POC for any new projects for security system within its site or as maybe requested by the Geo Security Manager · Assist the Site Security and Safety Lead in the implementation of its Site Security Budget targeting an annual savings of 5% against budgeted operational expenditures. · Attends to safety and security meeting as required, as well as seek training for self-development. Health & Safety Management As the Local Safety Officer, he/she will be working directly to the Site Director, Chairman of the Site Health & Safety Committee and with the guidance of the Health & Safety Manager. In particular the Local Safety Officer will: · Leads the site’s safety inspection, health and safety training and emergency management programs to ensure the conformance of the facility, employees and contractors to company’s OHS Management System and applicable government OHS regulations. · Conducts incident investigation and submit the analysis and recommendations to the Site Security and Safety Lead. · Ensures that the approved Corrective and Preventive Actions are implemented on timely-manner. · Coordinates with different departments to ensure that 1. Risk assessment is up to date 2. Relevant site’s OHS programs are implemented and periodically reviewed to achieve set OHS objectives and targets. Our most successful candidates will have: · College Graduate or at least 72 units in college with at least 5 years’ experience in the security industry. · Working knowledge of computers · Can communicate in English (both written and verbal) · Certified as a Security Professional · Six Sigma Certified Yellow belt (optional but desirable) · Should understand in general, business continuity planning, auditing, and risk management, as well as contract and vendor negotiation. · Must have general working knowledge of pertinent law and the law enforcement community. · Must have a general understanding of information technology and information security as well.
