Nozoly Food Industry is a food manufacturing company specializing in food retort technology. We are looking for a Sous Chef for R&D Department to help us enhance our research & product development strategy plans. Come and join us if you have what it takes!

Below is the job description;

  • To lead the R&D team
  • To improve/improvise the current recipes based on the market feedback.
  • To work together with Sales Department on developing new recipes upon request.
  • To assist or conduct in organizing public sensory for all product acceptability before mass production.
  • Always on the look for product visual and sensory comparison against competitors brand, from time to time
  • Conduct in formalizing recipes into mass production standards according to SOP.
  • Liaise with QC on any development or improvement for parameter guidelines in creating standard SOP.
  • Always have innovative ideas on how the present system could improve and cope with production capabilities through a minimal investment on machinery whereby no compromise on quality matters.

Requirements:

  • A diploma or degree in Culinary Arts, or related field that provides a strong foundation
  • A hands-on experience in professional kitchen setting, with prior roles such as Junior Sous Chef.
  • Experience in food product development or a similar R&D development is highly advantageous.
  • Have knowledge in food chemistry, ingredient functionalities and preservation method, including familiarity with retort technology.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From RM3,500.00 per month
