  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Chong & Co. is looking for a motivated Junior Lawyer to join our dynamic team. This is an exceptional opportunity to grow your expertise in mainly litigation and learn the basics of conveyancing, with hands-on training and mentorship. Your contribution will be key in protecting our clients' interests and upholding the integrity of our practice. Key Responsibilities: • Comprehensive Legal Support: Attend to mainly litigation and partially conveyancing matters, including drafting letters, preparing cause papers, submissions, and bundle of documents. • Court Appearances: Handle case management, trials, and hearings with minimal supervision. • Contractual Expertise: Draft and vet agreements such as Sale & Purchase, Tenancy, and Corporate Agreements. • Conveyancing Transactions: Manage subsales, SPA, loan documentation, auctions, and other conveyancing-related tasks. • Regulatory Liaison: Attend to matters at stamp offices, land offices, and other relevant government bodies. • Client Interaction: Conduct signing sessions with clients both in-office and at external locations. • Adaptability: Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as required or instructed. Qualifications & Requirements: • Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Law. • Professional Credentials: Admitted to the Malaysian Bar. • Experience: 1-4 years of experience in civil litigation and/or conveyancing practices. • Language Proficiency: Strong command of both Bahasa Malaysia and English (spoken and written). • Transportation: Must have your own vehicle. • Skills: Good research skills, computer proficiency, and excellent drafting abilities. • Personal Attributes: Independent, diligent, reliable, and motivated.
