IT Cyber Security Specialist Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Cyber Security Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of the Cyber Security industry and have the capability to support both technical security operations and sales efforts. This role will be responsible for safeguarding the organization’s IT systems, networks, and data from cyber threats while also contributing to sales activities by providing technical expertise, product demonstrations, and client support. Additionally, the candidate must: • Assist with Indonesian clients in the future, ensuring effective communication, technical support, and tailored Cyber Security solutions. • Have a strong understanding of the Indonesian IT Cyber Security industry, including market trends, regulatory requirements, and business opportunities. • Know how to explore and expand business in Indonesia, identifying potential clients, partnerships, and growth strategies. Experience with Cyber Security products and solutions, as well as a sales-oriented mindset, is highly recommended. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: Cyber Security Implementation & Protection: • Design, implement, and manage security protocols to protect the organization’s infrastructure, applications, and data. • Conduct regular security assessments (vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, risk assessments). • Develop, monitor, and maintain network and system security configurations. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure secure development practices are in place. • Continuously monitor systems for irregularities and potential security breaches. • Respond to, manage, and investigate security incidents and breaches, ensuring timely resolution. • Stay current with the latest Cyber Security trends, threats, and mitigation techniques. • Provide technical security guidance to both technical and non-technical teams. • Assist in compliance audits, including GDPR, ISO, or other relevant standards. • Document security incidents, procedures, and security-related policies. Sales Support & Product Knowledge: • Assist sales teams in understanding client requirements and effectively communicating Cyber Security solutions. • Provide pre-sales technical support, including product demonstrations, solution presentations, and consultations. • Help identify and propose security solutions tailored to the specific needs of potential clients. • Work alongside the sales team to prepare and review proposals, RFP responses, and bids from a technical perspective. • Translate complex security concepts into clear, customer-friendly language to ensure understanding. • Conduct product training sessions for both internal teams and clients, enhancing product knowledge and Cyber Security awareness. • Participate in customer meetings and discussions to ensure a strong understanding of Cyber Security solutions and how they address client needs. Indonesian Market & Client Support: • Provide Cyber Security expertise and tailored solutions to Indonesian clients as part of future business expansion. • Possess deep knowledge of Indonesia’s IT Cyber Security industry, including regulations, compliance standards, and emerging security threats. • Keep up-to-date with market trends, competitors, and potential business opportunities in Indonesia. • Develop and execute strategies to explore and expand business in Indonesia, including identifying potential clients, partnerships, and sales channels. • Assist in client meetings, product demonstrations, and technical discussions specific to the Indonesian market.
