What is the opportunity?

RBC Investor & Treasury Services Malaysia is a processing center of operational excellence supporting 10 countries across three geographical time zones. The country employs a Global Operating Model to maximise efficiencies across times zones and supports a 24/5 operational capability.

You will be responsible to ensure treatment of cash and security instructions received from RBC Investor & Treasury Services’ clients in line with prescribed market, NAV and Treasury deadlines The role is to deliver specific services to external and internal clients with high level of quality, efficiency and fostering a client first mindset.

You will be supporting UK region, working hours would be between 3pm-12am or 4pm – 1am. However, flexibility is required to support business needs.

What will you do?

  • Responsible for production of timely and accurate invoices, payment and controls.
  • Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining initiatives and controls to standardize various processes relating to timely, accurate and complete billing and collection of all client core service fee revenue.
  • Identify and escalate operational risks linked to the invoicing system and process, and support on process streamlining to increase quality and efficiency of the invoicing process overall.
  • Works with key stakeholders that are also part of the revenue generation cycle: all Operation teams, Pricing and Global Advisory, Revenue Assurance, Product Management, , Service Assurance Managers and Client Representatives, and Client Partner.
  • All audit and regulatory requirements must be clearly satisfied, and key service level agreements must be met.
  • Adhere to defined invoicing processes and procedures locally and implement / maintain quality controls and processes.
  • Ensure coordination between the key activities: data acquisition and support / client fee set up and invoice and controls.
  • Perform the invoicing process and ensure all actions are taken to ensure maximisation of revenue collection.
  • Understand the impact of actions and changes to the revenue line of RBC IS and ensure that any event causing increase or decrease in client fees or any situation that may cause delay in the process is escalated to manager/senior manager client invoicing immediately.
  • Ensure all deadlines and service level agreements are met.
  • Act as invoicing subject matter expert and have the indebt knowledge of client invoicing processes and procedures and format and structure of fee schedules across service units supported by Client Invoicing.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • At least 2 years of Production / Analyst experience.
  • Experience in financial industries or Invoicing function of other industries.
  • Finance or Accounting degree and qualification or related experience.
  • Production / Analyst experience.

Nice-to-have

  • Accounting qualification is an asset.
  • Good knowledge of the RBC IT service suite.
  • Comfort in using sophisticated business information and analytic tools.
