Intern - Investor Service (Starting in March 2025)

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Intern - Investor Services, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Reporting to the Manager/Assistant Manager, this position is based in Kuala Lumpur and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our investor services and its’ growth.

Responsibilities

• Attend to enquiries by walk-in investors/holders on the corporate exercise such as rights issues, dividend/interest or any form of cash payments, initial public offer (“IPO”), general offer, compulsory acquisition, dividend reinvestment plan undertaken by clients
• Provide advice or render assistance to investors/holders on the procedures to accept/exercise their rights to entitlements and receive the submission from them.
• Attend to request for collection of annual reports, circular, corporate exercise documents, cash payment cheque/notice of crediting/tax voucher.
• Provide the necessary support to other managers as and when the needs arise.
• Perform any other related duties as and when assigned.

Requirements

• Relevant Diploma or Degree in Management, Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Proactive, cheerful, able to work independently and has an attention to detail.
• Good listener, responsive and likes to deal with people of all levels.
• Has good time management and is deadline drive.
