Accurately process monthly payroll, including calculating deductions, overtime, bonuses, allowances, and other components, while verifying timesheets, leave, and attendance records. Ensure timely payroll disbursement in compliance with company policies and labor regulations. Handle and ensure accurate calculation and submission of statutory contributions, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB. Stay informed about updates to Sarawak Labour Ordinance, statutory contributions, and tax regulations affecting payroll. Maintain up-to-date and confidential employee records in the payroll system, ensuring compliance with the Malaysian PDPA. Update payroll records for new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, and employee status changes. Address employee inquiries related to salary, deductions, taxes, and payroll matters, collaborating with HR, finance, and accounts to resolve discrepancies and escalations. Generate and distribute payroll reports, statutory submissions, and other required reports, while conducting regular payroll audits for accuracy, compliance, and data integrity. Recommend and implement payroll process improvements and system updates, staying informed about industry best practices for efficient payroll management. Requirements: Additional knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards will be an added advantage.
