Responsibilities:

  • Develop key strategic content for Board and EXCO, e.g. monthly input and updates to Group Board to steer discussion and enhance decision-making, with expectations to take ownership of key processes and deliverables
  • Support the Group Annual Business Planning formulation and process in partnership with team leader and cross-functional teams, including tracking of implementation progress and identifying growth drivers and areas of opportunities
  • Manage the Group Scorecard to measure and analyse the Group’s performance which includes initiation, cascade and performance monitoring, with expectations to take ownership of key processes and deliverables
  • Conduct peer & industry benchmarking and provide valuable insights to Board and EXCO
  • Facilitate post-implementation review of Strategic Programs
  • Lead strategy events management, e.g. Board offsite, corporate presentations
  • Lead strategy-related communication, e.g. annual report, internal communication, media queries, employee engagement
  • Lead the Group Strategy and Innovation (GSI) sector-level central coordination for budgeting, compliance and other sector-related tasks
  • Key support for projects and/or ad-hoc tasks assigned with critical deadlines

Requirement:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or related subjects
  • At least 2 years of work experience, familiar with financial terms and reports, and with business acumen
  • Must be a self-starter, proactive with ability to multi-task in a steep learning curve environment and comfortable working on a variety of tasks with converging deadlines, i.e. from administrative work to Board-level presentations
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word) and able to produce high quality outputs
  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with high level of accuracy and structured organisational skills
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate with team members and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with stakeholder management, including working and conversing with EXCO and Board members
