Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for optimizing and maintaining operations. Ensures process efficiency, product quality, and regulatory compliance while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, enhance productivity, and support innovation.

  • Monitor and optimize thermal processing parameters (temperature, pressure, time) to ensure product safety and quality.
  • Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Working Instructions (WIs).
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements (FDA, USDA, HACCP).
  • Identify areas for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency, yield, and cost savings.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot process deviations, equipment failures, and quality issues.
  • Work with maintenance and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and performance.
  • Lead process improvement projects related to processing, including automation, energy efficiency, and waste reduction.
  • Support new product development by validating thermal processing parameters for new formulations.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, and R&D teams to implement innovative and sustainable processing solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety, GMPs, and plant safety protocols.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures to enhance process safety.
  • Train operators and technicians on best practices in manufacturing processes.

Requirements:

  • RCA Analysis
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Co-Pilot & Power BI will be an advantage.
  • Proficient using CMMS tools.
  • Engineering background with exposure with food technology will be an advantage.
  • Equipment mapping process.
  • People management skills: Bradley Curve (Influential in changing mindsets)
