We are recruiting a Business Analyst to join our growing team at KL HUB Shah Alam. You will join a supportive team with the opportunity to develop both profesionally and personally with support.

About The Role

  • Support and promote the Group’s Core Values: Interaction, Commitment and Innovation
  • Support the Group's Vision "First in Mind and First in Choice" by focusing on and continuously promoting and developing a Customer-Value and a Customer-Care driven culture.
  • Develop and support a spirit of open communication, fairness, non-discrimination and respect for the individuals in all areas of our operations
  • Interact with other Group units in a constructive, productive and unselfish way that supports the development of synergies and the consolidated result of the Divisions and performance of the Business Area (and the Group)
  • Promote and ensure the values, guidelines and policies laid down in The Way We Do Things
  • Safeguard integrity and transparency of operations and of the legal structure by making sure that FAM and Code of Conduct is understood and applied where relevant
  • Your mission is to contribute towards the development of Power Technique Southeast Asia Region to become the leading supplier of the Business Area’s equipment and services portfolio in the region.
  • To ensure the accurate application of the principles and guidelines of “The Way We Do Things” and that financial reporting and accounting matters are fully in compliance with these guidelines and local statutory requirements through accurate, relevant and timely business and financial analysis, reports and scorecards.
  • To work closely and to develop sound and professional working relationships with the Internal Service Provider. (Business Services)
  • To ensure that an effective internal control environment is maintained to protect the assets of the SEA Customer Center of the PT Business Area.
  • To support the Power Technique team where required in developing their business opportunities, contributing to the development of sales and profitability and following up on business results versus trends and analysis and report on deviations to plans.
  • To meet the specific agreed objectives that may vary annually as detailed in the annual variable compensation targets provided by the Business Controller.
  • Support a spirit of open communication fairness and respect for the individual in all operation areas
  • Ensure proper handover of all closing tasks to the Kuala Lumpur Hub so that the team understands how and why
  • Lead Balance Sheet reviews and raise red flags
  • Ensure on time and accurate financial closing within working hours
  • Support the development of profitable growth within every country of the region
  • Utilizing knowledge to raise concerns (red flags)
  • Demonstrate coaching skills with team members in any financial topics to share existing knowledge.
  • Support the development of digitalization due to open communication of manual processes and accurate reconciliation
  • Sharing the knowledge gained with team members

What We Looking For

  • Experience in data analysis, SAP and/or Power BI.
  • A high level of customer focus and service orientation is also required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
  • Prior working knowledge of SAP ERP systems is strongly preferred
  • Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and written communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Proficiency in Office365, PowerBI, DAX, SQL language is preferred.
  • Good attitude, organized, meticulous, independent and flexible
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Business sense; Financial background
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
