Country Manager - Online Distribution (WFH)
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our sales, marketing, and logistics teams in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the consumer electronics industry, strong expertise in managing e-commerce platforms like Shopee and Lazada, and the ability to oversee operations with minimal supervision. The role requires knowledge of market trends in Malaysia, Hong Kong and China.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Team Management:
o Oversee and lead the sales, marketing, and logistics teams to achieve company goals and KPIs.
o Foster a high-performance team culture by motivating and developing team members.
o Ensure alignment and collaboration across departments to optimize business operations.
2. Sales & Marketing Strategy:
o Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to grow market share.
o Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks.
o Monitor and drive sales performance on e-commerce platforms like Shopee, Lazada, and other online channels.
3. E-Commerce & Platform Management:
o Develop and execute strategies to increase sales on Shopee, Lazada, and other online marketplaces.
o Manage relationships with platform partners to maximize visibility and growth.
o Ensure high-quality product listings, promotions, and customer engagement to drive online sales.
4. Logistics & Operations:
o Optimize logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
o Streamline inventory and supply chain management to meet market demand efficiently.
o Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain smooth operations.
5. Self-Management & Decision Making:
o Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
o Take ownership of business outcomes and make data-driven decisions to achieve objectives.
6. Communication & Collaboration:
o Communicate effectively with regional staff and stakeholders across different languages.
o Prepare and present performance reports to senior management.
o Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and clients.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the consumer electronics industry.
- Proven experience in managing and selling on e-commerce platforms like Shopee and Lazada.
- Strong knowledge of market trends and consumer behavior in Malaysia.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven individual with the ability to work independently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
