As a bolttech intern…
You will have the opportunity to gain on-the-job experience and training, exposure to exciting opportunities including managing your own project. You will be embedded in a team working along side some of our best SMEs. You will also be supported by our intern program which offers a structured learning experience.
You will be working with the Advanced Engineering team located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Learn how innovation happens in real-life in order to adapt and thrive in a volatile and rapidly changing environment. Expect to develop skills you wouldn’t typically learn in a classroom setting such as innovation frameworks such as Agile, Scrum, Lean, and Design Thinking, Product and Project Management and User Research.

- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging technologies and trends.
- Assist in the development and testing of new products and prototypes.
- Support the team in ideation, research, development, and documentation.
- Collaborate across the squads to ensure the smooth execution of projects/tasks.
- Involve in workshop facilitation consists of internal, business units and stakeholders
- Experience Agile/Scrum ways of working through sprint ceremonies and product development
- Learn product lifecycle from ideas transitioning from research, to development and then to deployment phase
- Perform other duties as assigned by the R&D team lead.
- Currently pursuing a degree in software engineering or equivalent.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as HTML, CSS and Javascript.
- Proficiency in databases such as MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle or equivalent.
- Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies.
- Competent in navigating and using digital, data and technology tools and software applications
- Knowledge in agile, scrum, design thinking is a bonus
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Problem solving skills and agility
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Enthusiasm for technology and innovation.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing situations.
