As our Legal Executive, you will be responsible for:
1) Providing legal recommendations.
- Provide legal advice to Quant Tech Pi and related group of companies.
- Advise on legal matters pertaining to the daily operations of Quant Tech Pi including assisting the General Counsel on assessing, analyzing and advising on legal implications of contracts and documents.
2) Conducting legal research and documentation.
- Draft, review and prepare agreements or any legal documentations required for Quant Tech Pi in its day-to-day operations and business requirements.
- Analyse legal information and advise on contractual implications.
3) Case management.
- Conduct effective communications/interaction with management personnel of Quant Tech Pi, clients of the company and stakeholders.
- Liaise with external solicitors on legal matters including but not limited to preparation and execution of corporate, transactional M&A agreements or disputes (Court) matters arising.
- Report to and assist the General Counsel in the management of the legal matters of the LKK Group including but not limited to providing status updates, file management, summary of matters to ensure smooth management of the legal matters of the Quant Tech Pi Group.
4) Acting as our liaison and support for legal matters.
- Sit-in and participate in various internal and external meetings.
- Liaise with various departments in the company especially CEO’s office, management personnel, HR and finance department of Quant Tech Pi Group.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least two (2) years post-qualification experience in legal practice or has in-house experience in corporate and commercial law matters.
- Fluent in English and working proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia.
- Must be reliable, keen to learn, able to work independently and also participate as a team player.
- Keen interest in understanding businesses.
- Strong communication skills. Comfortable connecting with colleagues, external lawyers, and business owners.
- Proactive and willing to develop new skills and acquire knowledge not limited to legal matters only.
