About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner with a strong focus on talent development and upskilling, talent management and performance optimization of a multicultural and multi-disciplinary team across the APAC region.
You will work closely with the Managing Director to drive employee engagement and elevate a cohesive and inclusive organizational culture. You’ll be the lead advocate for a continuous learning culture to ensure the teams remain competitive and aligned with industry trends, particularly in the face of AI transformation in the PR and media sectors.
Talent Development:
Design and implement a forward-thinking L&D strategy to address skills gaps and equip employees for a technology and AI-driven industry.
Collaborate with senior leaders to develop targeted programs, including leadership, and competency training
Align L&D efforts with client needs and measure training effectiveness for continuous improvement.
Talent Management:
Drive transparent internal communications, ensuring consistent and engaging messaging across the organization.
Oversee performance management, compensation, and benefits programs to align with goals, foster engagement, and retain top talent.
Provide HR counsel on performance, career growth, and team dynamics while addressing employee relations issues fairly and confidentially.
Employer Branding and Recruitment:
Develop and execute strategies for employer branding, positioning the company as an employer of choice within the media research and analytics sector.
Manage the recruitment process for key roles, ensuring a positive candidate experience and alignment with organizational values.
HR Operations:
Ensure compliance with local labour laws across APAC and manage HR administration to minimize risk.
Oversee HR administrative processes, including employee onboarding, contract
management, HRIS data accuracy, and compliance with company policies.
Qualifications:
6+ years in a strategic HR role within the PR, communications, or similar agency environment with regional APAC coverage.
Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD) are preferred.
Strong understanding of the impact of AI on the workforce and how to integrate L&D programs to address these challenges.
In-depth and hands-on experience with setting up processes and programs across the full talent management spectrum.
Experience in employer branding and recruitment within the competitive industry to attract talent that helps the company stay ahead of the curve.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
