Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the company's tax compliance, ensuring accurate and timely filing of all tax returns.

  • Assist in developing tax strategies aimed at optimizing tax liabilities and enhancing financial performance.
  • Provide support in the preparation of financial statements, specifically in relation to tax provisions and disclosures.
  • Facilitate training for internal staff on tax matters and compliance best practices.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate finance and tax management or related finance roles.
  • Strong knowledge of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and accounting principles.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using tax and accounting software packages.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to recommend solutions effectively.
  • Team-oriented mindset, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.
