Introduction

We are engaged in sales & distribution of heavy machinery spare parts, equipments and engineering services. With our continuous success and growth, we are seeking for a procurement/purchasing candidate to fill a Procurement opening that have recently arisen in our business operations.

Role & Responsibilities

As Logistics & Purchasing Executive, you will be responsible for the procurement/purchasing and logistics and shipments activities ensuring that all products are available for business sales and supply. Duties will include, quotation processing, customer relationship, processing purchasing orders, liaising with all suppliers & vendors, coordinating shipment delivery schedules and working with freight forwarders.

Duties Will Involve the Following Process:

  • Liaise and work closely with Product Management, Operations and Logistics teams for the product availability.
  • Processing client's enquiry accordingly and quotation submission on time.
  • Coordinate and work closely with all other cross-functional departments to ensure smooth execution of product delivery.
  • To execute demand plan and schedules delivery to suppliers and forwarding agents.
  • Monitoring shipments in transit and manage the Customs clearance process by ensuring all documentations is available to submit to Customs.

Candidate profile

  • At least 1 - 2 years of similar working role experience.
  • Experience in working with forwarding agents are an added advantage.
  • Good interpersonal skills with good communication skills with clients and suppliers.
  • Experience at using MS office based tools for planning and document executions (Invoicing and PO Softwares).
  • Good email communicating skills and shipping knowledge ( shipping terms, custom docuemnts and etc)
  • Excellent command of English will be an added advantage
  • Malaysian
  • Valid Driving license for outside jobs

Industry Mechanical Or Industrial Engineering ( ports, oil & gas, power plants, mining & mineral plants, production steel and carbon plants)
