  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

1. Job Description : Storage/Backup Engineer

2.Job Responsibilities :

Storage/Backup Engineer requires an individual to be able to understand data storage and backup needs, select the appropriate products and develop the appropriate processes to meet those needs, and certify the solutions for deployment in ExxonMobil’s production environment.

- Provide engineering and technical support on Storage and Backup solutions.

- Assist with capacity planning and management and make recommendations for strategic decisions.

- Participate in Storage and Backup hardware and software certification activities

- Collaborate with principals, vendors and internal groups conducting Proof of Concept (POC) in evaluating appropriate solutions for business needs.

- Recognize and give recommendation on how emerging technology can be implemented adhering to industry standard practices.

- Establish and maintain relationships with Managed Service Provider (MSP) that supporting daily operational activities.

- Lead technical escalation of Storage & Backup problem troubleshooting with internal and external groups of support.

- Individual will need the ability to work with minimal supervision and possess strong technical knowledge.

3.Primary skill set :-

Base Technical

- Broad Infrastructure background (servers, storage, network, etc.)

- Windows and/or LINUX OS experience and knowledge

- Working knowledge of

- Service Now/Ticketing

- Operations Support Tools (DATADOG, SCOM, MOOG)

- Network fundamentals (IP addressing, subnetting)

- Able to troubleshoot infrastructure and application integration issues from tickets, email, or phone calls with end users

- Able to Design, implement, document, and maintain procedures, tools, applications, and utilities in support of the lab and production environment.

Specific skills either for Storage or Backup role:

Storage Specific

- Ability to design, implement, document, and maintain complex integrated Storage systems including Dell EMC/NetApp SAN/NAS product and Cloud Storage (Azure/AWS)

- Working knowledge (required) or advanced skills (desirable) with one or more of the following: Storage arrays (SAN/NAS), NetApp ONTAP and Dell (OneFS, PowerMax ECS) storage cluster administration.

- Familiarity with Storage management software (application for managing on-prem and cloud storage clusters and arrays) such as NetApp System Manager, Cloud Manager, Cloud Insight, Active IQ, Dell Solutions Enabler, SMI-S, Unisphere and Powerpath.
