We’re passionate about our project and our goal is to help provide financial flexibility to those who need it in Southeast Asia. We’re looking for someone who can help manage our entire finance function. This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to step up into a role with lots of oversight and responsibility.

Job Description

What you'll be doing

  • Core accountancy work - owning the financial statements of all group companies including group consolidation
  • Assist the CEO with fundraising and investor relations
  • Preparation of financial forecasts and monitoring performance - a key role for assisting management to make strategic decisions
  • The preparation of our customer usage metrics to provide insight to the rest of the business on how our customers are engaging with our products and services
  • Producing monthly management reports and quarterly shareholder reports
  • Ensure the bank reconciliations are performed in a timely manner and according to the relevant regulatory requirements
  • Overseeing the annual audit process
  • Overseeing the preparation of regulatory and tax filings
  • Preparing applications for local government grants
  • Invoicing our clients and ensuring collections are prompt
  • Processing of payroll, including quarterly reconciliations

Qualifications

What we're looking for:

  • Independent, self starter, problem solver, responsible and reliable
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification
  • 4+ years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Strong project management, organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate with all levels of the organisation
  • Commercially minded and can think outside of the box
  • Experience working in a rapidly scaling business
  • The ability to build scalable processes and tools from scratch
  • The ability to produce documentation (accounting policies, how-to guides)
  • Expert-level Excel experience
