Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Manage the Team: Oversee and mentor a team of business development professionals, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure team members meet their performance goals and contribute to overall company growth.
  • Develop and Execute Strategies: Create and implement business development strategies to identify new opportunities, expand the company’s market presence, and drive revenue growth in target industries.
  • Build and Maintain Client Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with key clients and prospects, understanding their needs and positioning the company’s products/services to align with those needs for long-term partnerships.
  • Identify and Pursue New Markets: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activity, and untapped market segments, then leverage this information to develop new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with sales, marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure alignment on business objectives, promotional strategies, and service offerings.
  • Track and Report on KPIs: Monitor and evaluate team performance, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing regular reports on progress, challenges, and areas for improvement to senior management.
  • Negotiate and Close Deals: Lead high-level negotiations with potential clients, securing new business agreements and closing deals that contribute to achieving company revenue targets.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Possess at least a Diploma in any field.
  • Strong communication skills with good command in English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Fluency in Mandarin is required for this role, as it involves direct interaction with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • At least 5 to 6 years of related work experience in Sales or Business Development (experience in leading a team is an advantage).
  • Experience or knowledge in HRMS software is preferred.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and network effectively.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Possess own transport to travel around regional hub (KL) for continuous expansion.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
