Job description - Head of Operation (Cybersecurity)
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE (S): To assist in the development and implementation of security services in various locations where required throughout Malaysia. To train and manage all security personnel conducting special project tasking as directed by IGS Management team, and other identified essential skill sets as required to enhance security personnel performance.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations:
Manage and maintain the overall security for all projects as stipulated in the letter of offer
Develop local law enforcement/Government contacts to support special security operations
Conduct regular security quality control checks on all security project tasks
Oversee and be overall accountable for all security operations, and quality of services, and provide training to security personnel on a regular basis
To teach and implement security procedures/policies as required
Enforce security SOP’s and instill discipline amongst security personnel and take the appropriate action if any personnel are in violation of company policies/procedures
Conduct investigations as required
Maintain good relations with the local authorities and IGS clients
Provide briefs to the IGS Executive Management Team as requested
Oversee and implement special project contracts
2. Managing Administration:
Develop and manage project rosters
To assist in security personnel selection, operational planning and training of security personnel
Debrief security personnel and draft performance records each quarter
Develop and maintain healthy communications with client’s management team
Maintain and report attendance records to HQ Finance department
3. Develop a culture of quality:
Maintain and continuously develop standards, policies and procedures for IGS security operations
Identify opportunities for improvement (OFI) of various security operational activities
Developing techniques for measuring/monitoring improvement of security activities
Provide suggestions and recommendations to IGS SMO/COO on a regular basis
To plan and improve security service standards in order to obtain higher level of professionalism
To assist in formulating and implementation on matters pertaining to security operations
Requirements:
- Proven experience in security operations management.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and threat analysis.
- Experience in managing manpower, scheduling, and training security teams.
- Understanding of access control, surveillance, and emergency response.
- Leadership skills with the ability to drive operational excellence.
- Relevant certifications in security, cybersecurity, or risk management (CISSP, CPP, CISM, etc.) are a plus.
Location : Ara Damansara
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
