Sous Chef
To attend daily Kitchen & Floor Operation briefing and F&B monthly meeting as scheduled
- To work closely with the HOD on recruitment, training, development, counselling, discipline, and staff welfare.
- To ensure that cost of operations is kept within the guidelines of Profit and Loss budgets.
- Plan on behalf Culinary Department with the Food on new menus, pricing, new food items for Banquet events and seminar package.
- Ensure that all service operations, food and hygiene standards in all kitchen areas are complied.
- To make sure that recipes are followed, and no wastage occurs during the cooking process, and to ensure maintaining of food cost.
- Work closely with HOD / Coordinator for the replacement and purchasing of new equipment as required.
- Monitor the quality and price of product, food, raw materials and etc sent by suppliers and work closely with Purchasing team to ensure that all items received are value for money.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment and utensils are properly maintain and used according to Standard Operating Procedures.
- To work closely with team to ensure kitchen remain clean and orderly.
- Performs other related duties as required by Superior/Management.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
