Senior Civil Engineer (Structure/Infrastructure)

1. General

• Carry out Structural Analysis and Detailed Design of Reinforced Concrete Building and Steel Structure for Power Plant or any Industrial Plant by using Staad pro.

• Prepare Calculation Report.

• Prepare sketches for Draftpersons to prepare structural detailed drawings and liaise with the Draftpersons.

• Prepare Bill of Quantity as and when required based on the project requirement

• Build and maintain good relationship with Client

• Assist in preparing consultancy Expression of Interest and Consultancy Proposal

• Assist superior in carrying out sales and marketing to secure project

• Review Subordinates’ and peers’ output and provide guidance to Subordinates

• Prepare cost estimates

• Attend meetings and coordinate with all other internal and external design team members

• Liaise with relevant Authorities for submission and approval of all drawings and documents

• Involve in company’s activities including corporate social responsibility activities.

• Assisting in management and administration functions within division and company as directed

• Carry out all tasks related to Minconsult’s operation as directed

Requirements

• Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering recognized by Board of Engineers, Malaysia (BEM)

• Registered with BEM as a Graduate Engineer

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a consultancy environment

• Experience in AutoCAD, REVIT and Navisworks will be an added advantage

• Experience in post tensioning design will be added advantage

• Able to lead junior engineers and other staff in undertaking small to medium sized multi-disciplinary project with minimal guidance

• Good organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize workloads and meet timelines.

• Good inter-personal skills. A team player

• Good command of written and spoken English. Able to write and speak fluent Bahasa Malaysia

We are also looking for a Manager position

Handle independently for typical types and sizes of projects comprising Sewerage Lifting Pumping Station, Water Pumping Station, Drainage Pumping System, and all infrastructure related pump station & lead a team of engineers and other staff in undertaking multi-disciplinary project with a minimum of 12 years experience.
