Junior Service Engineer
The Service Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment or machinery at customer sites. This role involves technical support, customer training, and ensuring optimal equipment performance.
Key Responsibilities:Installation & Commissioning
- Install and set up equipment/machinery at customer sites.
- Conduct system testing and ensure proper functionality.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform routine maintenance and preventive servicing.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues or malfunctions.
- Replace faulty components and ensure minimal downtime.
Customer Support & Training
- Provide technical assistance to customers on equipment operation.
- Conduct user training sessions on equipment usage and maintenance.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints efficiently.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain service logs, reports, and documentation of work performed.
- Provide feedback on recurring technical issues for product improvement.
Collaboration & Compliance
- Work closely with the technical and sales team to address customer needs.
- Ensure all service activities comply with safety standards and regulations.
Other Duties
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the superior to support service operations and company objectives.
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering fields.
- Experience in equipment servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel for on-site support.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
