Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of robotic systems and automation solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and oversee the integration of robotics into existing manufacturing and automation processes.
- Develop detailed project plans, specifications, and schedules for robotics projects.
- Develop and implement testing protocols for robotic systems to ensure reliability, quality and performance.
- Generate user manuals and technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in team meetings, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Provide training & guidance to internal stakeholders on preventive maintenance and issue.
- Explore and experiment with new technologies and algorithms for autonomous navigation.
Job Requirements:
- Must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree/Master in Mechatronic, Robotic and Automation, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or any other related field.
- Minimum 4 years of technical support experience in mobile robotics in automation systems.
- Experience with ROS based development.
- Proficient in programming and scripting skills (Python, C/C++, Node.js, Html/CSS).
- Experience in collaborative research and thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Understanding of flight control systems and software programming for drones is an advantage.
- Willing to travel, if required to customers’/subcontractor sites in various states in Malaysia and overseas.
