Role & Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Initiation:

  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for projects.
  • Ensure alignment with funding guidelines, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and expected outcomes.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure adherence to all relevant funding guidelines, regulations, and reporting requirements throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and submit timely progress and financial reports to the appropriate government agencies, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Financial Management:

  • Track and manage project finances effectively, ensuring the appropriate allocation of grant funds according to the project’s objectives.
  • Oversee the budgeting process and ensure proper documentation for any expenditures.
  • Ensure timely submission of financial reports to funding bodies and internal stakeholders.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, internal teams, and external collaborators.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders, ensuring everyone is aligned with project goals, timelines, and requirements.
  • Proactively address any concerns or issues raised by stakeholders and offer solutions to ensure project success.

  • Lead regular project meetings with cross-functional teams to discuss progress, milestones, and any emerging issues.
  • Identify potential project risks and challenges, including those related to clinical care or resource management, and develop mitigation strategies to address them.

Clinical Oversight and Support:

  • Provide psychological interventions, assessments, and consultations for individuals or groups involved in the project, ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines, clinical best practices, and evidence-based methods.
  • Provide direct clinical support to ensure participants receive the best care and services throughout the project.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and client progress
  • Design and deliver workshops and webinars for the public and corporate clients to promote mental health awareness

Team Leadership and Coordination:

  • Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring that all team members have clear roles, responsibilities, and objectives.
  • Foster collaboration and communication within the team to maintain high levels of efficiency, motivation, and project success.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to facilitate their professional growth and project contribution.

  • Oversee or directly conduct clinical research or program evaluation activities within the project.
  • Ensure that data collection is thorough, accurate, and aligns with project goals. Analyse outcomes and make recommendations for future program improvements or adjustments based on research findings.

Documentation and Record-Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate records of all project activities, clinical assessments, team interactions, budgets, and timelines.
  • Ensure that all deliverables, clinical outcomes, and grant requirements are met and documented effectively.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive final reports, ensuring that all project objectives and requirements have been successfully achieved.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a master's degree in clinical psychology from a recognised university
  • Registered with the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council (MAHPC)
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in clinical psychology
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365
  • High level of English proficiency
  • Basic proficiency in Malay

Preferred (not a MUST):

  • Experienced in project management or leadership roles.
  • Obtained TTT accreditation.
