Job Summary

As the Product Owner of the AUNNP product, a key component of the Alliance Interfaces tribe, you will be responsible for defining, developing, delivering, and maintaining business-critical software solutions for a global customer base. You will foster a high-performance environment where individuals take ownership of their missions with confidence. Your primary goal is to ensure the commercial success of the product and service portfolio while maximizing customer satisfaction.

Working closely with the squad, service manager, and customers, you will define and prioritize functional and non-functional requirements, manage product escalations, and oversee the transition to public cloud support. Your technical expertise will guide a well-structured and prioritized roadmap that aligns with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a product vision and roadmap that balances business priorities, technical enablers, and the transition to public cloud support.
  • Synchronize product strategy with Tribe leadership and other Product Owners within the Alliance Interfaces On-Premises product cluster.
  • Define the Minimum Viable Product (MVP), considering resource constraints and sustainable product development.
  • Act as the escalation point for technical and product-related issues.
  • Serve as an ambassador for your squad, liaising with both internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Engage with AP+ customers to understand their needs and align product solutions accordingly.
  • Define commercial and technical product specifications, including performance, compliance, and security requirements.
  • Ensure the highest quality standards, including security patch releases independent of customer requests.
  • Build and prioritize the squad backlog to achieve business goals while keeping it up to date.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement meetings, and cluster planning sessions.
  • Accept sprint deliverables in sprint review meetings.
  • Lead squad preparations for quarterly Tribe ceremonies, including Business Reviews, Big Room Planning, and OKR definitions.
  • Coordinate with other squads in the On-Premises cluster for cross-squad initiatives and dependencies.
  • Monitor overall squad performance and provide performance reports.
  • Support squad development by defining necessary competencies, collaborating with chapter leads on resource allocation, and providing regular performance feedback.

Experience And Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience in one or more of the following roles: Product Owner, Senior Business Analyst, Developer, Development Manager, or Delivery Manager in a Banking, Telecom, IT, or ICT environment.
  • Strong understanding of public cloud technologies and messaging solutions.
  • Experience supporting large-scale customers with operational excellence and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to challenge the status quo.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams is an asset.

  • Ability to communicate effectively across business functions (e.g., marketing, sales, finance) and technical areas (public cloud, messaging, operations, technology).
