What would you do?
Establish and maintain relations with government and B2B stakeholders relations that lead to commercial opportunities and revenue realization.
What would you do?
- Develop and strategise government affairs strategy to place Touch 'n Go as a technological partner of choice with the government.
- Align government affairs strategy with commercial strategy of the company, and provide advice to commercial teams on best approaches with the government.
- Work closely with corporate communications, customer service, and other teams on strategies to manage customer and public sentiment on company and products.
- Establish, enhance and maintain a good network and relationship with the Government departments, agencies and local councils to advocate, negotiate or defend positions and potentially open doors for commercial opportunities.
- Able to develop revenue generating opportunities, and adept at identifying new business strategies.
- Proactively manage issues and concerns that may arise from government departments due to our products being of national interest and impact nationwide.
- Advise the Management on changes in Government policies, processes and regulatory which are significant to the company.
- Support and advises CEO and management on any gov-related engagements. Does the preparation work and conducts briefing to CEO and management.
- Strategically align business, product and government engagement strategy for best outcomes
- Evaluate and recommend all requests for financial/sponsorship support requested by the government.
- Coordinate with relevant agencies, authorities, and regulatory bodies to set up appointments and engagements with Government and various divisions when required and follow-up on meetings.
- Represent the Company in Government and community relationships, liaison and communication.
- Other duties as assigned.
Who should join us?
- Minimum 6 - 8 years of working experience in government relations/affairs, preferably with experience dealing with government ministries in transportation, works and consumers related and other regulatory governmental agencies.
- Previous working experience in engaging with industry associations, government agencies and regulatory agencies are also added advantage.
- Experience in stakeholder management and ability to collaborate with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Great problem-solving skills, self-motivated with strong analytical thinking.
