First Level Executive, Governance, Risk and Compliance
Position: First Level Executive, Currency Development and Resilience | Jabatan Mata Wang
ROLE PURPOSE
The Strategic Planning and Reporting Analyst is responsible for coordinating reporting of department operations and projects, as well as planning and monitoring all activities and interdependencies across all the Currency Department's project timelines to ensure they are delivered timely and achieve the Bank’s targets in accordance with the Bank’s governance and requirements. The Analyst is also expected to undertake research and analysis on policy implementation for currency ecosystem under the Currency Department’s purview.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Identify, coordinate, and prepare reporting to management, e.g. biannual Board paper on currency management and scorecards, to ensure streamlined focus on key deliverables.
- Manage project management documents such as project planning and scheduling, encompassing all current projects for the Currency Department, including defining critical paths and interlinkages between projects to streamline the project management process.
- Undertake research and robust analysis on policy options and potential initiatives to promote a conducive and sustainable development of currency ecosystem and effective delivery of the Currency Department’s key mandates.
- Formulate business plan and set goals for the department (including sectoral inputs) on an annual basis to ensure all projects and initiatives are on track and that all areas of currency ecosystem are included in strategic planning and the overall currency ecosystem agenda.
- Measure performance indicators and identify any key issues across Currency Department projects and operations, monitoring project progress and project status report management for stakeholders to ensure all projects are closely monitored in achieving desired targets and outcomes.
- Identify and assess the section’s resource needs, including preparing input for Operating Plans and Monthly Expenditure Planning to ensure efficiency of processes and to perform other tasks/roles assigned by the supervisor.
- Undertake any administrative functions and other ad hoc tasks assigned from time to time.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
Academic Qualifications: Degree in Management, Accounting, Finance, Business Studies, Economics, Engineering or equivalent qualifications
Experience: Minimum 2 years working experience in project management, strategic planning or in any related field is an added advantage.
