Job Responsibilities:

  • To understand and grasp the core competency and advantage of company Business Support Solution (BSS) as well as capable of bringing in Industry best practice BSS capabilities/features to be incorporated into BSS solution.
  • Based on industry IT-BSS experience, to provide industry best practice IT-BSS solution recommendation which fulfills and resolves Customer IT-BSS pain point.
  • To perform gap analysis, scoping and to work closely internally with Huawei BSS R&D and SE to produce Prepaid/Postpaid/CRM Solution HLD and proposal, Functional requirement Specs, Integration specs doc to map with customer business requirement.
  • To identify and convert Customer IT/BSS pain points into tangible business opportunities with proposed solutions.
  • Onsite SA for Solution sales team and Project Service delivery team to clarify on solution designs, scope, delivery and integration test complexity during the life cycle of a project in presales and delivery stages.
  • For normal change management workflow, responsible for new features or change request Impact analysis doc output and clarification with the customer.
  • To support the project delivery team in implementation and integration testing and defect resolution and clarification when required.
  • To support Solution sales team in presales activities and high-level workshop presentations.

Job Requirements:

  • At least Bachelor’s degree
  • Over 6 years of BSS solution design experience and 5 years of BSS project implementation experience in a Solution Architect role within BSS project delivery. Ability to perform due diligence and produce system architecture and output solution designs for legacy network architectures.
  • Based on Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and system architecture, provide feasible end-to-end (E2E) solutions and impact analysis.
  • Capable of managing third-party integrations as a system integrator.
  • Proficient in producing testing cases and supporting testing until functional and non-functional requirements are accepted.
  • Strong coordination, teamwork, communication skills, and target-oriented mindset.
  • Previous involvement in complex BSS/IT/Software project delivery. Familiarity with Telecom Operators' business processes, requirements, functions, and features for Prepaid Charging, Postpaid Billing, or CRM. Experience with BSS systems from providers such as Amdocs or Netcracker.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead workshops and articulate solution designs to clients and internal teams at all levels.
