Job Description:

The current Regional Managing Director will be moving on (within the Group) and will be available to help our handover and the successful integration of our client base.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a small team of five who are well established. Your main responsibility will be to take a lead role in client generation, introducing new clients and opportunities to the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development and Client Management:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, proactively engaging with existing and prospective clients to understand their talent needs and present MRG's services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
  • Take the lead with designated client accounts as directed, ensuring continuous high levels of engagement and ensuring that all mandates are successfully resourced.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop innovative recruitment strategies and solutions tailored to our unique client requirements.

Sales & Team Leadership:

  • Consistently drive sales performance and ensure the KPI and sales targets are acheived on an individual and collective basis.
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to a team of recruitment consultants, setting performance targets and ensuring their continued professional development.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team, promoting knowledge sharing, best practices, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback, and implementing strategies to enhance individual and team performance.

Recruitment Process Management:

  • Utilize MRG’s systems and processes and add value where possible.
  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring efficient execution and delivery of high-quality candidates from initial attraction and screening, through to onboarding and travel arrangements.
  • Utilize advanced sourcing techniques to identify and attract top executive talent.
  • Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' qualifications, cultural fit, and potential for success.

Market Analysis and Industry Expertise:

  • Stay updated on Asian industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to provide insights and recommendations to both clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Share market intelligence and expertise with the team, keeping them informed of industry developments and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the recruitment industry ideally within the Real Estate and/or Construction market.
  • A proven sales management leader, combining personal fee generation with sales management and leadership.
  • Strong expertise in inventive candidate generation and resourcing strategies.
  • Demonstrated success in business development and forensic client/account management.
  • Excellent data analysis and reporting skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of the global recruitment landscape and an appreciation for global industry trends in real estate and the built environment.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional client and candidate experiences.
