The Day-To-Day Activities
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations for Telco and Digital Business
• Review all journal entries from GL accounting functions for month end period closing
• Prepare and review schedules for monthly reporting, quarter reporting and annual financial year audit
• Perform financial analysis over expense/operating expense items and its corresponding accrual balances ensuring that it's accurately captured in the accounts
• Work closely with respective operation teams in understanding, analysing and reporting important expense line items to the business
• Provide commentaries for Exco, board meeting and other analysis deck
• Review and ensure accuracy and completeness of all related party transactions
• Manage annual audit and other ad-hoc audit process to ensure timelines are met
• Assist in regulatory compliance matters such as Return on Net Revenue (RONR) preparation, accounting separation, quarterly average revenue per user (ARPU) submission etc
• Review and approve GL, Cost Centre and Chart of Accounts related matters such as new GL code creation, confirming GL codes for PR/PO/IPF and provide approval
• Assisting in other ad-hoc reporting requirement
About You
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting
- Possess professional accounting qualification : ACCA, CPA or equivalent
- Experience and knowledge in MFRS 16 Leases and MFRS 124 Related Party Transactions are not required, but an added advantage
