Job Summary:

We are looking for a self-driven and innovative Sales Specialist or Senior Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team in KL and Penang, among other areas. In this role, you will spend 30% of your time in Operating Rooms (OR) and Endoscopy suites, collaborating directly with surgeons, clinical specialists, and gastroenterologists. You will work independently to manage your territory, think outside the box to provide effective solutions, and engage with healthcare professionals across both government and private hospitals. Key Responsibilities:

  • Spend 30% of your time in OR/Endoscopy areas supporting product usage, conducting clinical training, and engaging with key decision-makers such as surgeons and gastroenterologists.
  • Work independently to manage and grow your territory, identifying opportunities for sales growth and creating tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Clinical Specialists and Management to deliver exceptional product knowledge and customer engagement.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans for both government and private hospital sectors, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, provide clinical training to healthcare professionals, and ensure proper usage of our devices in clinical settings.
  • Engage with healthcare professionals, including surgeons, clinical specialists, and gastroenterologists, to build trust and establish long-term relationships.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting on sales performance, customer interactions, and market insights.
  • Think creatively to overcome challenges and deliver tailored solutions to meet customer needs and achieve sales targets.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of sales experience in the healthcare industry, with a proven record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience working in both government and private hospital sectors is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of medical devices, particularly those used in OR and gastroenterology procedures.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex clinical concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Results-oriented with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple responsibilities and priorities within your territory.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and a passion for delivering value to customers.
  • Willingness to travel to support internal training, conferences, and business activities.
  • A strong sales record or relevant awards is a plus.
