RESPONSIBILITIES: Task Delegation and Coordination Delegating tasks on the project to team members best positioned to complete them Plan resources and coordinate the efforts of team members, internal departments, and contractors to deliver projects according to the plan Stakeholder and Supplier Management Build and manage solid relationships with contractors and suppliers Negotiate pricing with suppliers Quality Control Perform quality control on the project throughout development to maintain expected standards Team Collaboration and Synergy Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy Guide team leaders on project planning and deployment Team Development and Training Identify suitable training to upskill team members Project Ownership and Delivery Own all company projects and ensure they are delivered according to timeline and budget Resource and Schedule Management Define resources and schedule for project/program implementation Plan and schedule project deliverables, goals, and milestones Risk Management Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning Reporting and Inventory Controls Prepare weekly progress updates for management Manage Inventory REQUIREMENTS: PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or equivalent is preferred. Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering, Technology or related field. Minimum 5-8 years of project management or IT Management. Minimum 3 years’ experience coordinating and/supporting IT business processes. Point added for experience in the Fiber Optic deployment, troubleshooting and Fiber optic issues, strong understanding of utility distribution networks and project management. Knowledge of business plans, customer requirements, and market. Ability to read, evaluate and interpret schematics, diagrams, and maps. Having experience and knowledge with wireless equipment such as Wifi AP, P2P, microwave, radio wave etc. Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills. Must be able to learn, understand & apply new technologies. Program/Product Managers require scheduling and budgeting experience. Overtime may require in meet project deadlines Travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with clients, contractors or off site personnel.
