We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Property Tech Sales Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, expertise in real estate technology, and a proven track record in sales. This role involves promoting and selling our innovative property technology solutions to clients, providing expert advice, and ensuring seamless implementation and support. This role requires a dynamic leader with deep knowledge of the PropTech landscape in Malaysia, strong B2B and direct sales experience, and the ability to drive business growth through strategic sales initiatives, partnerships, and customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Strategy & Leadership:

Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the Malaysian market, targeting both large corporate clients (property developers, real estate investment trusts, property managers) and direct customers (individual property owners, small businesses, property managers).

Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve sales targets, maximize revenue, and expand the company’s presence in the Malaysian PropTech market.

Align the sales strategy with company goals, focusing on market penetration, brand positioning, and customer acquisition.

• Corporate Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:

Identify, pursue, and secure high-value corporate partnerships within Malaysia’s real estate, construction, and property management sectors.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including executives and senior managers, to ensure long-term business opportunities.

Understand client needs, pain points, and challenges, and offer tailored technology solutions that provide value and drive business transformation.

Lead contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements for both the company and the clients.

• Direct Sales Approach:

Lead direct sales initiatives targeting small to medium-sized property managers, landlords, and independent real estate agents across Malaysia.

Manage and oversee lead generation, prospecting, and closing of sales, ensuring a strong pipeline of potential clients.

Provide hands-on guidance to the sales team in prospecting and converting direct clients, ensuring clear communication of product benefits and value propositions.

• Market Development & Growth:

Drive market expansion across Malaysia by identifying new market segments and business opportunities.

Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.

Develop partnerships with local influencers, organizations, and real estate associations to enhance visibility and build the brand within the Malaysian property technology market.

• Sales Team Management & Development:

Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team, setting clear goals and providing ongoing support to ensure consistent performance.

Foster a results-oriented and customer-centric culture within the sales department.

Conduct regular training and development programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.

• Sales Process Optimization:

Refine and optimize the sales process to improve efficiency, shorten sales cycles, and increase conversion rates.

Implement effective CRM tools and sales automation systems to track leads, manage pipelines, and forecast revenue.

Ensure a seamless and positive experience for customers throughout the sales process, from initial contact to post-sale support.

• Revenue Growth & Performance Monitoring:

Set and monitor sales targets, ensuring alignment with the company’s financial objectives.

Oversee the tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess sales team performance, product effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.

Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on sales performance, market trends, and emerging opportunities.

• Collaboration with Marketing & Product Teams:

Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop sales materials, campaigns, and promotions tailored to the Malaysian market.

Work with the product team to ensure that offerings align with local market needs, and provide feedback on potential product enhancements.

Participate in industry events, conferences, and webinars to promote the company’s technology solutions.

• Negotiation & Contract Management:

Lead negotiations for high-value contracts, ensuring favorable terms for both the company and clients.

Work closely with legal and finance teams to finalize agreements and ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Preferred male

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in software sales, preferably in the property management sector.

• Strong understanding of property management practices and real estate technology.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.

• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.

• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with property management software solutions.

• Knowledge of the local real estate market and industry trends.

• Ability to speak multiple languages is an advantage.
