Technician

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES • Responsible to assist the facility to carry out all maintenance works including but not limited to preventive maintenance, breakdown repairs and upgrading works. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES • To carry out the preventive maintenance works as per the schedule prepared by the Executives • To attend and repairs any breakdown to ensure downtime is managed • To provide suggestions on improvement plan for any upgrading or impromptu works that need to be carried out. • To provide feedback to the executive on the implementation of SOP and improvement for the said documents to be included from time to time. • To provide feedback on improvement plans for the factory • Ensure good housekeeping and good maintenance practice in the work area • ESH Responsibilities: o Understand the ESH objective and target for the facility o Ensure that all necessary safe operating procedures and instructions relating to all aspects of work within the department are being implemented as per the prepared documents o Recommend any improvements on the SOP and Instructions for continuous improvement. o Implement a system of regular hazard and housekeeping inspections in his work area. o Monitor safety and health performance with their area of responsibility REQUIRED SKILLS • Able to work independently and to coordinate several activities simultaneously. • Able to interact with all levels of management, suppliers and clients • Good command of English & Bahasa Malaysia both written & communication • Acts quickly and decisively. • Works well under pressure • Computer literate (MS office software) is an added advantage
