Key accountabilities:- • To ensure that the company with all governing legal requirements with regards to Environment, Safety, and Health, and compliance to Jabatan BOMBA & Penyelamat. • Liaise with Government bodies on Health, Safety and Environment issues. • To lead Emergency Response Team (ERT) and actively promote EHS program continuously in the company - conduct training / briefing related to safety and accident prevention to all employee as part of training awareness and refresh activities. These are not limited to control and take actions in the event of emergency. i.e. fire, major chemical spillage, floods, etc. • Routinely conduct internal plant and office facilities audit to spot and correct any health and safety deficiencies and recommend new and improve safety policies and procedures. These are not limited to responsible for maintaining proper Safety and Health functions to the agreed standards, policies and procedures, all Safety Equipment in the office as well as production and responsible for the adherence of Safety & Health policy and implementation of an effective Occupational Safety & Health Management Plan. • Provide advice, assistance, guidance and interpretation to the management in all relevant areas of safety, risk management, environment and related legislation. These include to conduct Safety Audits to provide line management with feedback. • Responsible to ensure compliance to Safety & Health Committee Regulations from time to time and monitoring the execution of Fire Fighting Team & First Aid Team activities. • Conduct and ensure investigations on any accident causing near miss accident, occupational poisoning & disease or dangerous occurrence at the work place are in place and report to DOSH in accordance to NADOPOD Regulations 2004 - the statistical data are analyzed and maintained. • Perform all instruction made by employer or any person in-charge of the work place on any matters pertaining to Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) of the work place and at the same time act as Secretary to Safety, Health and Environment Committee. • To conduct Induction Programs to New Employees to ensure they aware with Safety Policies & Procedures. • To monitor and manage all monthly cost relates to EHS and Administration as to achieve departmental and annual budget. • To ensure all MBWA activities are successfully completed and all renewal of licenses, insurances and approval for the Company. These are not limited to manage the Company assets i.e. vehicles, buildings, roads, electrical equipment’s, etc. Requirements:- • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Engineering /Environment, Safety & Occupational Health or equivalent. • Candidate must be a Certified / Registered as Safety and Health Officer with DOSH or any professional body approved by DOSH or possess relevant certificates by NIOSH. • Candidate with Certificate of Chemical Health Risk Assessment (CHRA) and/or have experience in organizing Safety Exhibitions to create Safety awareness would be an added advantage. • Possess some experience in conducting EHS related training is an added advantage. • Well-versed in EHS Management system, ISO 9001:2015 or OHSAS 18001, EHS Legislation & Microsoft Office skills. • Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia & English, both written & spoken. Those who able to communicate in Korean would be an added advantage. • At least 5 - 10 year(s) of working experience in EHS/Manufacturing Environment related field is required for this position. • 1 full time position available in Senawang, Seremban, Negeri Sembilan.
