Job Responsibilities 1. Lead and drive full compliance in all plant operations in laws & regulations, HSE, Quality, code of conducts of all plant employees. 2. To develop strategic manufacturing plans aligned with Grobest Group strategy and goals. Directs and manages plant production operations and activities to achieve world class manufacturing goals with high output, high quality products, competitive cost and on-time delivery to customers under a safe and clean working environment. 3. To develop both short and long-term plans and objectives for the manufacturing plant. 4. To assures timely and efficient production of all products at minimum unit cost, consistent quality, with effective utilization of human and physical resources with established quality standards. Accountable for production OEE, quality and yield. 5. To strategize workforce planning and management, establish succession planning for entire operations. 6. Ensures the whole plant organization can operate and collaborate to make full use of individuals and functional team capabilities with continuity of required managerial and specialized skills. 7. Co-operates constructively with all Regional Management Team members in helping them to fulfill their own role & responsibilities. Collaborates to utilize peers’ resources & skills in solving plant issues and problems. Takes effective remedial action or takes advantage of opportunities. 8. To foster lean manufacturing methodologies and tools into the whole plant organization, nurtures a continuous improvement culture, motivate all people to transfer all issues & problems into improvement opportunities. Creates initiatives and take actions to fix or solve to improve HSE, quality, customer services, developing people and reduce costs for the best plant performance. 9. Develops and maintains an atmosphere in which there is close identification of interest between employees and company, high morale, positive sense of security to release maximum working efforts and potentials. 10. Assures thorough safeguarding of the physical and human resources entrusted to this position’s accountability. 11. Develops and implements a regularly planned effort to build up the Company’s good will in the community. Be an active contributor to the Corporate ESG goals and objectives. 12. To approves of purchases and related costs under DOA authorized limit. 13. To foster safe and clean working environment. Protects corporate assets. 14. Leads and participates in plant budget planning and management with in-depth deviation analysis capability. 15. Maintains close liaison with other Regional Management Members on a variety of matters related to plant operations. Specific matters would include good manufacturing practices sharing, quality standards, production cost, personnel practices, wage administration policies, employee benefits, public relations, and local compliance with relevant authorities. 16. Mentor & coach team leads in factory operations. 17. To further improve the policies on inventories, production capacity, supply chain planning, headcount, proposed changes of product or packaging. 18. To undertake job related tasks as assigned by superior/ the management. Qualifications & Experiences 1. Minimum bachelor degree in mechanical/mechatronic engineering or its equivalent. 2. Minimum 10 years hands on working experience at supervisory & managerial positions in production, engineering, supply chain and Quality management in MNCs related to manufacturing of aquaculture, animal nutrition, agriculture, chemical, food processing, medical devices, pharmaceutical or its equivalent products. 3. Able to communicate in English & Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin language will be an added advantage. 4. Strong knowledge in MS Office, e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Experience in using ERP and/or SAP will be an added advantage. 5. Solid leadership skills and ability. 6. Solid achievement in organizational restructure, transformation and change management. 7. Good in strategic thinking, analytical and interpersonal skills. 8. Strong in communication, people & performance management skills. 9. Working experience in matrix organization. 10. Good presentation skills.
