In-Process Quality Control (IPQC): Perform in-process inspections at different production stages to ensure compliance with specifications. Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional checks based on quality control plans. Identify and document defects or non-conformities and report them to the relevant departments. Process Monitoring & Compliance: Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality standards. Monitor critical process parameters and escalate deviations when necessary. Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance product quality. Testing & Measurement: Use measuring tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMM (if applicable) to verify product dimensions. Conduct first article inspections (FAI) and sample testing as required. Ensure accurate documentation of inspection results. Non-Conformance Handling: Identify, record, and report any non-conforming materials or products. Work closely with the production and QA teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Support root cause analysis and problem-solving activities. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and quality-related activities. Prepare inspection reports and ensure proper traceability of products. Support internal and external audits by providing relevant documentation. Training & Support: Assist in training production operators on quality standards and inspection procedures. Support continuous improvement programs, such as 5S and lean manufacturing initiatives. Requirements: Education: Diploma or Certificate in Quality Control, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related fields. Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in quality control or manufacturing inspection (fresh graduates with relevant knowledge may also be considered). Skills & Knowledge: Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other industry-specific standards. Proficiency in using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.). Basic understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) is an advantage. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork skills.
